Interactive Session on Prevention , Education & Early Detection on Cancer
Location : A.N College | Date : 30.05.2017
Interactive session on Prevention,Education and Early Detection on Cancer with National Service Scheme, Cancer Care India was organised in A.N College. About 200 N.S.S Volunteers and students from A.N college and general masses participated in this programme and got benefited. On this occasion several eminent personalities such as Padmashree Dr. Jeetendra Kumar Singh; Shri Pratap Shahi, Principal,A.N College & other dignitaries were present in this interactive session.
Workshop on Cancer Prevention, Education & Early detection

GSF organized a workshop on cancer prevention,Education & ealry detection in Ishan International School on 24th Novemebr 2017.In this cancer awareness programme students and school teachers and staff were given information and knowledge about cancer.On this occasion famous oncologist padmashree Dr. JK Singh;Dr. Subhendu Choubey,leading cardio-vascular doctor , Virginia,USA; Dr. Arvind Kumar,Director,Ishan International Girls School;and others delegates were present in this workshop
Mobile Van Outreach

Lack of awareness makes it difficult for people in remote villages to know much about the causes & informations. Hence GSF has developed unique outreach program, whereby our infrastructure and expertise in Cancer is made available to these people at their doorsteps.GSF organized cancer awareness activities in remote rural areas through mobile van also.During the year 2017,mobile van has touched more than 20 villages & more than 20,000 persons got benefited..

ORIENTATION WORKSHOP ON CANCER AWARENESS WITH NSS | Location : Adhiveshan Bhawan,Patna |Date - 06.08.2016
A one day orientation workshop session on Cancer Awareness with National Service Scheme was held.About 500 NSS volunteers and programme officers from 14 universities of Bihar participated in this workshop.This orientation workshop aims at enabling NSS volunteers and programme officers to orga nize door to door awareness and support campaign for cancer in 400 villages
